Send a Note
Every message sent to Yes4 Northeast Living lands in one shared inbox that the whole crew reads. There is no call centre and no automatic reply; a real person opens your note, usually within a few days.
How to reach us
The simplest way is by email at mail@yes4thenortheast.com. The form on this page opens your own email app with the address filled in, so nothing is stored on our side before you press send.
What is useful to include
- For a correction: the title of the article and the sentence that looks wrong. A link to a current source helps us check it faster.
- For an idea: the question you could not find a good answer to. Some of our best pieces started as a single line from a reader.
- For a question about a post: what you have already tried, so we do not repeat it back to you.
- For a business enquiry: who you are and, briefly, what you have in mind.
What we cannot help with
We are a small editorial team, not a service provider. We cannot inspect your home, troubleshoot a particular television box over email, book travel or give personal medical, legal or financial advice. For anything involving electrics, gas, structural work or health, please contact a qualified professional in your area. We are also unable to provide support for products or services mentioned in articles; the business behind them is the right place to ask.
What happens next
Corrections go straight to whoever wrote the piece. If a change is needed, we update the article and note the date. Ideas join the list we plan from, though we cannot promise to write about every suggestion. Questions get a reply if we have something useful to say. We keep your email only as long as the conversation needs it and never add you to a mailing list; our privacy page explains this in full.
Before you write
It may be worth a quick look at how a story gets made, which explains how we choose topics and handle corrections, or at the crew page if you would like to address one of us by name. And if you are simply looking for something to read, where new readers begin is a good first stop.
Ahead of your note
A person reads every note
Messages arrive in one inbox that Merewyn, Theodric and Rosamund all check. Corrections go to the writer of the piece, ideas go onto the planning list and questions get an answer when we have something useful to say.
Short is perfectly fine. The article title and one sentence about what caught your eye is usually all we need.

Questions people often send
Quick answers to the things readers most often want to know before writing.
Can you recommend a provider, contractor or tour operator?
Naming favourites is not something we do for individual readers. Our articles explain what to look for so you can compare options yourself.
I found something out of date. What should I send?
The article title, the passage in question and, if possible, a link to a current official source.
Will my address end up on a mailing list?
No. We keep your email only while the conversation needs it and send nothing you did not ask for.
Can a business propose an article?
Yes. Write to the same address with a short outline, and we will reply if it suits the journal.
